Fall 2012: Continuing Into Our New Decade
FROM THE PRESIDENT:
TCA continues to build toward the future. The new format you see here is an example of the work and dedication we are putting in to make this hobby what you have come to expect.
As mentioned by Paul Edgar, Immediate Past-President, "…e-Train builds on the wonderful information base written by TCA members since 2002. All of the old material has been preserved, now easier to find and easier to read."
Working together the staff of the National Business Office and the e-Train editor have taken this major step forward. Welcome to the next generation of e-Train!
Carol R. McGinnis TCA President
FROM THE EDITOR:
In my mind, one of the greatest benefits of the world wide web is "instant access."
We can now reproduce late breaking news immediately, rather than several months down the road as print media requires.
I have taken photos and researched my own collection as a start in hopes of inspiring others such as yourself to contribute too.
The hardest part, and probably the most interesting, is finding out about club cars or special and limited edition items that you were unaware of.
If there are new items that are not listed in an article; or you have your own niche collectible; would like to show photos of your layout; or have a repair tip, I would love to hear from you and hope that you decide to share your knowledge with not only the TCA, but the entire world, since e*Train is available to anyone, anywhere.
We encourage the membership to contribute towards this electronic medium, for like a layout, it is never really finished.
