Articles About PostWar Era

The articles listed below focus on the PostWar era.

The Postwar era is defined as the period of development of toy trains after World War II (1945) and through 1969.  The wartime military production from 1942 until 1944 had required that metals and other essential wartime material be set aside for that purpose.

Manufacturers include Lionel, American Flyer, Ives, Marklin, and Marx.  Other manufacturers also produced toy trains and accessories.

Articles which overlap eras will be cross-referenced in all appropriate sections.
